Perfect hotel location for great Bristol run but right next to loud bars and clubs so no sleep!

Stayed the night before the great Bristol run. Hotel was decent as a whole and room was nice. Bar was quiet and nice. Location is perfect for the race as the event village is across the road and the race start and finish are close by. The train station is only 20mins walk too. Big down side for me was that I was given a room that overlooked a whole strip of bars and clubs with loud people and even louder, thumping music. Had an awful nights sleep, or lack of, before the race due to this. If you are staying for the race, although perfect for location, I would maybe avoid as it is so very loud and impossible to get any sleep.

The room was comfortable and the central location overlooking the city's waterways pleasant - 'though quite a long taxi drive to the Temple Meads Railway station. However for an Ibis hotel (the most basic of the Accor conglomerate), the price at 129 pounds a night without breakfast isn't particularly good value for money.

Booked for one night as meeting daughter day after Nice hotel bedroom clean and tidy Bathroom bit pokey but ok for night Lumpy pillows but otherwise ok Breakfast was very good selection and all hot Staff very helpful and lovely pleasant environment for drinks in bar in evening although but expensive

A really great hotel for a one night business stay. A safe, secure car park within a very short walking distance. I found the hotel great, right in the centre of Bristol, with bars and restaurants around. I'd expected some noise, so took ear plugs. I only heard a small level of noise and you are bound to get this next to bars. I had a lovely walk along the river by myself during the evening and (as a woman) I felt safe. Breakfast was better than in some hotels I've stayed. Room could do with a having a bin and for some reason I couldn't charge my phone (probably my error more than the hotel). Shortest lead ever on the hairdryer and needs to be more powerful please. Staff were lovely, hotel was clean. Bed comfy. Will definitely stay again.

Perfectly reasonable hotel. Great location. Underground car park right outside and we had a 50% discount from the hotel. Lovely and clean, comfortable bed, not too noisy like some we’ve stayed in. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice. Staff needed to wake up a bit though and replenish the food as at one point there was no toast, coffee, bacon, beans or juice. We only had to wait for bacon when we came down for breakfast. Would stay again.
